TROPICAL BUTTERFLY HOUSE LIMITED
Office Address - Woodsetts Road, North Anston, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S25 4EQ
Company Number - 08250383
What to expect on your visit
The Tropical Butterfly House will be reopening on the 18th of July. The Safety and welfare of our visitors and staff is always our top priority. We have therefore implemented a number of new precautions, following both government advice and requirements of our local authority, in order to provide a safe and enjoyable visit for everyone.
We have made the decision to limit our visitor numbers, so we can safely manage people and ensure social distancing can be maintained around the park. Currently a maximum of 400 visitors will be permitted to enter the park each day with arrival times staggered at 15-minute intervals and a maximum visitor stay of three hours as a result. You may be asked to politely leave the park, if you run over your allocated session and visitor numbers are exceeded to an unsafe level.
All tickets must be pre- booked online. Tickets will not be available on the gate.
We are releasing dates in one week blocks due to changing government guidance and we will require everyone to book online prior to their visit, including annual pass holders. You can book your tickets here at www.butterflyhouse.co.uk
Before finalising your purchase, please enure you have chosen the correct date and arrival time slot that you would like for your visit. Due to the current visitor number restrictions all tickets are non tranferable and non refundable. Thank you
A limited number of tickets will be made available for our members daily. The percentage of tickets will be based on our average number of member visits recorded during that same period. Members must still book online to allow us to maintain our maximum number of visitors per day.
If you are in receipt of a Family Explorer pass, which you won or you were issued with, this cannot be booked online, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Arrival Time Slots
We are introducing arrival time slots to help alleviate queues and maintain social distancing. You will be asked to select an arrival time when making your booking. We ask that you please arrive during your time slot as we cannot guarantee entry to visitors who arrive outside of their arrival time. To allow us to review visitor capacities and work in line with the changing regulations initially tickets can only be booked a week in advance.
We regret that we are not able to accept any promotional offers at this time. This includes all free adult/child stickered leaflet, Yorkshire attraction group passes, family admission vouchers
Please do not travel to visit us if you or any member of your group or household are showing any signs of COVID-19. The Tropical Butterfly House remain the right to refuse entry to anyone who we feel is showing signs of Covid 19.
From 24th July, it will be mandatory to wear a face mask or covering in all shops, with this in mind, please bring your own as they will not be provided. We ask that all visitors pay special attention to the new safety and direction signage around the park, wash and sanitise their hands regularly and maintain social distancing at all times. We ask that if you or anyone in your group start showing any symptoms of covid-19 during your visit that you leave the park immediately and follow the governments guidence of self isolating, arranging a covid-19 test and contacting the NHS track and trace service.
We can currently only deal with life threatening cases, however all incidents must be reported to the duty manager on the day and a first aid report completed. First aid supplies can be obtained from the gift shop.
During your visit contactless payment will be preferred but cash will still be accepted
All our areas are free flowing apart from the Tropical House which is a one-way system. Please maintain social distancing in this area at all times
Changes to Activities
During the current circumstances and for the foreseeable future we cannot operate our tractor ride, bird shows, animal talks and experiences. We are following government and BIAZA guidelines and we will update you with any changes in the near future. However, our Camelot play park and Splash zone are open for you to enjoy. Please wash and sanitise your hands before and after play and maintain social distancing.
Lottie’s Coffee Lounge/ Big Red Bus
We have introduced something new to the menu, a range of delicious picnic boxes. Please help us to recover after this period of closure by leaving your sandwiches at home and treating yourself to one of our tasty picnic boxes. Choose from afternoon tea for two and children's boxes. All picnic boxes must be pre booked online, up until 4.00 pm on the day before your visit. Lottie's will be serving hot drinks and a simple menu, the Red Bus will serve hot drinks and snacks, however as always this may close in the case of bad weather. Should we need to close the bus, other provisions will be made.
Wet Weather Day
Dont let the British weather stop you booking in advance. If it rains consistantly on your visit and spoils your day, we will issue you with a free return ticket.
Park opening and closing Times
The park will open at 9am and close at 5:30pm
